It is not too late to sign up for WRAP Services!

We offer a safe, reliable, familiar and fun filled Before and After Care program for parents that need a little more time. Activities are planned based on the interests of the children in the group and, therefore, vary from site to site. Extracurricalar activities are offered to families who are signed for WRAP. Some activities include Soccer, Dance Class, Gymnastics, and Karate. You can also check out the hours offered and prices by clicking here.

Before Care is a great way for parents to get to work early or on time! Mile Square opens 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM. Our staff is welcoming and creative to help make a smooth transition for those parents that are working in a timely fashion.

After Care makes it easy for those parents that have to work past 2:30 PM or just need that extra time. It's creative, fun, and most of all, relaxed. These extra hours allow children to explore using their own creativity.

Mile Square Preschool Transition Program

Do you have or know a 2 year old that needs childcare? Do you have a child that doesn’t meet the Hoboken PreK-3 cut off date? Do you know a 4 year old that needs to attend Preschool but the town they live in does not offer services? Do you know someone who would be interested in our Preschool Transition Program?

Our Mile Square Early Learning Center located in the Rue Building has expanded the Preschool Transition Program and has openings for the Fall. The Transition Preschool Program is offered to children as young as 2, children who do not meet the cut off for PreK-3 as well as 4 year olds. Children from Hoboken, Jersey City, Weehawken or adjacent towns may attend.

If you know anyone interested, please email or call 201-659-6086

The meals and snacks that your preschoolers eat help give them the nutrients they need to learn, grow and be healthy. This school year we have 2 options for you to choose from for meal service.

  • You may provide your child with food from home. (Please be mindful of food allergies such as nuts, peanuts, shellfish)

  • You may purchase meals for your child that include breakfast and lunch. We will be utilizing a vendor that lets you select meals through the PaySchools website once all the applications are returned. The food is prepared fresh each day and will provide required USDA meal components including fresh fruits and vegetables, lean protein, whole grains and low-fat dairy products. A vegetarian meal option will also be offered.

Until the PaySchools payment option is set up, we will be sending weekly surveys asking what food options you would like. We will keep a record of each family's food orders and will send an email at the end of the month for total charges. We will be accepting checks and money orders for payment, made out to "Mile Square ELC".

The lunch application is typeable so you can send it back to your Family Advocates through email or you can print it out and fill it out at home to return to school. This application should be filled out even if you are not signing up or qualify for free lunch by Friday, September 16.
